INSPECTIONS

Playground inspections are essential for ensuring the safety and compliance of play areas.

CRCS Recreation Inspection Services

Your Trusted Partner in Building Safe, Vibrant Play Spaces. At CRCS Recreation, playground safety is more than just a responsibility—it’s our mission. We believe every child deserves the chance to explore, laugh, and play freely, without the worry of hidden dangers in their play environment. Safety isn’t an afterthought at CRCS; it’s the foundation of everything we do.

Our thorough inspection process is designed to proactively identify and address potential hazards—ensuring that every playground we assess remains a safe, welcoming place for children to thrive.

Drop Testing For Safety Surfacing

Drop testing, also known as surface impact testing, is used to assess the safety of playground surfacing. Since most playground injuries occur due to falls, it's essential to ensure that all playground surfaces comply with the latest CSA standards

How it Works

The test simulates a child falling onto the surface from various heights, measuring the impact and the surface's ability to absorb it. It produces a numerical rating that determines whether the surface meets safety standards or fails to comply.

Operational Inspections: Regular assessments to check for wear and tear on equipment

Annual Inspections: Comprehensive safety reviews are conducted once a year Post-Installation Inspections: Required after new equipment is installed to ensure safety standards are met

Hazard Identification: Inspections aim to identify hazards and ensure that playgrounds provide secure, risk-free environments for children
